We are really excited to be taking part in the Flashmob this year. It is open to existing class members and the general public. Other line dance groups are also welcome to collaborate - get in touch and we'll join together to make this as big an event as we possibly can!

When?

This year the flashmob is being done on Saturday 2nd May at 2 o'clock.

Where?

We have permission to dance in the Crescent Shopping centre in front of the cinema/superdrug. This is a flat area so offers the largest, safe area for dancing.

Who can participate?

We will doing "Everybody Dance" for charity which is suitable for everyone to join in with. Scroll down to find the tutorial videos.

How much?

We are asking for an optional donation of £1 per dancer. All donations will go directly to the Line Dance Foundation (LDF), supporting and strengthening the line dance community worldwide. If you would like to learn more about the LDF visit their website: www.linedancefoundation.com

Rehearsals

There will be two rehearsals for this event on Tuesday 28th April at 11.10am and Thursday 30th April at 7.00pm. We would like as many people as possible to attend one of the rehearsals so everyone knows what will happen on the day.

The Dances

There will not be any instruction on the day other than for the charity dance at the end so please practice in advance. You do not have to dance every dance, just do the ones you know and enjoy!

Everybody Dance

This is a beginner level charity dance and is suitable for everyone. It will be taught to the crowd on the day so everybody can join in.

In the tutorial he says there is a TAG after wall 9 but we have found a song that doesn't require this so you can just dance the routine all the way through!

We are also doing the ams as a wave overhead to make it look more effective.
